Accessibility statement
Last updated October 2026
This statement applies to agetrust.co.uk. It is run by Age Related Diseases & Health Trust (“AgeTrust”). We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website, including older people and people living with sight, hearing, mobility or cognitive conditions.
What we have done
- Text is larger than most websites by default, and you can zoom to at least 200% without content being cut off.
- Colours meet the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast standard, and we do not rely on colour alone to convey meaning.
- Every page can be navigated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link.
- Buttons, links and form fields are large enough to use on a touchscreen, and form fields have clear labels and error messages.
- Images have text descriptions; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Animation is reduced or removed if your device is set to “reduce motion”.
- The site works on phones, tablets and desktop computers, in portrait and landscape.
How accessible this website is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. We know some parts are not yet fully accessible: some third-party content, such as the donation payment page and the Win Your PIP website, is provided by other organisations under their own accessibility statements, and some older PDF documents may not be fully readable by screen readers.
If you cannot use part of this website
We would rather hear from you than have you struggle. If you need information in another format, such as large print, easy read or over the phone, or if you find a problem that is not listed here, please contact us:

- Email: info@agetrust.co.uk

We aim to reply within two working days and to fix accessibility problems as quickly as we can.
Enforcement
If you contact us about accessibility and are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which handles complaints about the Equality Act 2010.
Technical information
This website is built with modern web standards. We test it with keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, and screen readers such as VoiceOver, and we check pages on small phones as well as large screens. This statement was prepared in October 2026 and is reviewed each year.
